Customer Service
The Customer Services department is split into three units. These units are : General Enquiries, The Helpline and Quote and Order Processing
General Enquiries
This department deals with day to day enquiries ranging from simple questions about slings to brochure requests, order confirmation and general price enquiries.
Helpline
The Helpline has highly trained advisors who can assist professionals in making the correct choice of sling for their client. Silvalea Ltd have many years experience in manufacturing slings and manual handling accessories and are also specialists in designing and manufacturing bespoke custom made slings to suit individual clients, even those with the most complex disabilities and manual handling issues. Our team of Helpline advisors are on hand to advise our customers which sling would best suit their needs. This may be a simple choice between standard designs to a more complex sling to deal with a particular manual handling issue. Quote and Order Processing
Quotes
This part of the department handles all the assessment forms which come in to us from our various distributors as well as from various therapists. From these forms quotes are produced and are then sent on to our customers. The department also deals with general price enquiries regarding additions to standard slings ie; comfort lining or additional padding to a sling.
Orders
When an official order is received it will be checked for correct item coding and sizing. Once this has been correctly determined it is entered into our computer system where an individual worksheet is produced ready for the production process. Through our unique WIP Barcoding system we are able to trace where any order is at every stage of the production process. This not only enables us to give our customers an expected delivery date if requested but it also allows us to keep a check on manufacturing times and costs so we can always offer our products at competitive prices.
